The Philippines chalked up its second bronze medal of the day in the 2018 Asian Games in Jakarta, Indonesia on Monday.
Junna Tsukii won the country’s 12th bronze medal after topping Paweena Raksachart of Thailand, 4-1, in women’s karate.
Tsukii pushed the Philippines’ medal haul to 15, three of which are golds.
Earlier, Cherry May Regalado also bagged bronze in women’s single pencak silat a day after the Philippines struck double gold in women’s golf
Weightlifter Hidilyn Diaz delivered the first gold before Yuka Saso’s dramatic finish in women’s individual golf led to a couple more.
Tsukii’s win also came just hours after the Philippine men’s basketball team bowed out of medal contention following a loss to rival South Korea in the knockout quarterfinals.
