Highlands golf gets going
The country’s leading golfing ladies take the spotlight next month when they, along with their guests from various sectors, clash for top honors in the Highlands Ladies Cup on Sept. 29 at Tagaytay Midlands Golf and Country Club in Tagaytay.
Another huge field is expected to see action in the 13th staging of the tournament, which is staged to foster camaraderie among the country’s top golfing lady executives and corporate bigwigs as well their guests in the government and private sectors.
The 18-hole tournament, organized by the Tagaytay Highlands Ladies Chapter, will have a shotgun start and will be played under the System 36 scoring format.
As part of THLC’s social commitment, the tournament also serves as a fund-raiser for its favorite charity, the Sisters of Mary boystown and girlstown complex in Silang, Cavite, whose twin missions are education and employment.
