Far Eastern University kept its title shot alive after taking down University of Santo Tomas, 22-25, 25-13, 25-14, 25-20, in Game 2 of the Premier Volleyball League Collegiate Conference semifinals Saturday at Filoil Flying V Centre in San Juan.
The Lady Tamaraws tied the best-of-three series and will look to complete their comeback on Sunday.
Celine Domingo put up 19 points to lead FEU while Jerrili Malabanan added 17 points.
FEU head coach George Pascua hopes that his team would carry its momentum into the do-or-die Game 3.
“Hopefully they can still remember the right things they did today and do it tomorrow,” said Pascua in Filipino. “This win helped our morale and the game tomorrow is a test of character for both teams.”
Milena Alessandrini had 13 points t lead the Golden Tigresses while captain Tin Francisco had eight points.
