Letran dominates Arellano in first game without Balanza
Colegio de San Juan de Letran played through adversity and humbled Arellano University, 99-82, to start its second round campaign in the NCAA Season 94 men’s basketball tournament Thursday at Filoil Flying V Centre.
The Knights shouldered on without Jerrick Balanza who was diagnosed with a tumor found in the temporal lobe of his brain.

As impressive as Quinto’s all-around numbers, a couple of his teammates also picked up the slack in the offensive end with Larry Muyang putting up 23 points and seven rebounds while JP Calvo had 20 points and five assists.
Michael Canete and Archie Concepcion had 17 points apiece for the Chiefs who fell to the sixth spot with a 4-6 card.
