Pacquiao promises December fight

For sure, Manny Pacquiao will fight in December.

The Fiilipino global superstar confirmed that on Wednesday as he accommodated Cebuana skateboarder Margielyn Didal in his Senate office.

But Pacquiao, who is turning 40 on Dec. 17, refused to say whom he is sharing the ring with.

“There will be one more fight this year, no venue yet,” said Pacquiao.

He also hinted at a “big fight” by either April or May next year that could very well serve as the swan song for the incumbent senator rumored to be running for higher office in 2022.

Many feel that the December fight will finally be against his former sparring partner Amir Khan, who has been calling him out for a date set either in Dubai or United Kingdom.

That should set the stage for a super fight against top-tier welterweights that could be anyone among current titleholders like Terence Crawford, Errol Spence and Keith Thurman.
