MACAU—Nagoya got off to a strong start after burying Yulon, 84-72, in Group A of the Asia League The Terrific 12 Tuesday at Studio City Events Center here in Macau.

The Diamond Dolphins practically left their fortunes on the hands of two men with Markeith Cummings and Craig Brackins carrying the B.League team in every conceivable way.

Cummings, who once played with NorthPort and Kia in the PBA, put up 30 points and nine rebounds for the Diamond Dolphins while Brackins had 28 points, 10 rebounds, and five steals.

Shaquille Hines had 19 points and 18 rebounds to lead the semi-professional club from the Republic of China’s Super Basketball League.

Lu Cheng-Ju added 15 points to the Luxgen Dinos’ offense while Billy McSheperd had 14 points and 11 rebounds.
