The final buzzer had sounded but University of Perpetual Help coach Frankie Lim still had one final instruction for a couple of his players.
Even after a convincing win over the Chiefs, Lim still made guards Jielo Razon and Tonton Peralta to run suicides for committing a cardinal sin.

“You can’t miss easy layups,” said Lim.
Lim, who is in his first season at the Altas’ helm, said the players get penalized for the same mistake even in practice.

“We do it everyday in practice. It’s a must. there’s no reason for you to miss an open layup that’s why I made it run,” he said.
Peralta scored 10 points and had three assists while Razon had nine points and seven rebounds to help Perpetual Help rip Arellano, 57-45.

The Altas stopped a three-game skid but they’re going to have their work cut out for them on Friday against the undefeated Lyceum Pirates.
“[They’re the] strongest team. We’ll try to make adjustments and we’ll see what we can do.”
