MACAU—Ulsan Hyundai ended its campaign on a high note after taking down Chiba, 77-71, in the group stage of the Asia League The Terrific 12 Thursday at Studio City Events Center here in Macau.
The Mobis Phoebus, although eliminated from the competition, will leave the Asia League with a 1-1 record in Group B while the Jets are winless after two outings.
Ulsan, which has six titles in the Korean Basketball League, used a strong fourth quarter surge to dispatch the B.League’s Jets.
The Mobis Phoebus, after trailing 62-64 at the end of the third, outscored the Jets 15-7 in the final 10 minutes.
Ra Gunah, who once went by Ricardo Ratliffe before becoming a naturalized Korean citizen, had 19 points and 14 rebounds for Ulsan Hyundai while Shannon Shorter added 17 points and four assists.
Josh Duncan led the Jets with 15 points and 15 rebounds.
