“Wishing Bongravs and his revamped coaching staff the best this conference and beyond.”
Ravena started his assistant coach job with the KaTropa in 2008 and served under Chot Reyes, Norman Black, Jong Uichico, and Racela.
TNT started off fairly at 1-1 but got into a three-game slide that culminated in a 112-82 blowout loss to Phoenix.
Assistant coach Eric Gonzales was then given the reins temporarily in TNT’s 118-114 win over Columbian.
Ever the jokester, Racela also joked that Ravena’s son Kiefer should join TNT.
Kiefer is under contract with TNT sister team NLEX but is serving his Fiba suspension for a doping violation.
“Kiefer lipat na (transfer already)!” joked Racela.
