Superal seeks strong Taiwan LPGT finish
Princess Superal hopes to make the most out of the LPGA’s (Ladies Philippine Golf Tour) first venture abroad, armed with the confidence needed in a top-level tournament like the Party Golfer Ladies Open, which unfolds Wednesday at National Golf Country Club in Miaoli County, Taiwan.
The current LPGT Order of Merit frontrunner heads the five-player Philippine crew that will slug it out with the best of the Taiwan LPGA Tour and a group of Thai aces who have ruled several events on this year’s LPGT calendar.
“It’s been a while since I last won, so that makes me hungry [for a title],” said the 2014 US Girls’ Junior champion, who scored back-to-back titles in LPGT Highlands and Riviera in March.
Mia Piccio, Cyna Rodriguez, Daniella Uy and Marvi Monsalve are also entered in the 54-hole event.
