Ancajas will be at ringside for Rungvisai-Diaz ONE bout
Filipino boxing star Jerwin Ancajas will be in attendance when ONE Championship holds its inaugural boxing match featuring Thai champion Srisaket Sor Rungvisai in the main event of ONE: Kingdom of Heroes on Saturday at Impact Arena in Bangkok, Thailand.
Ancajas, the reigning IBF super flyweight champion is coming off a split draw against Alejandro Santiago of Mexico at Oracle Arena in Oakland, has been vocal in his intention to arrange a showdown with Sor Rungvisai.
Sor Rungvisai (46-4-1, 41 KOs) is heavily favored to successfully defend his WBC belt against Iran Diaz of Mexico.
Two Filipinos are also scheduled to fight with strawweight Robin Catalan taking on Hayato Suzuki of Japan and Ramon Gonzales facing Dodi Mardan of Indonesia in the flyweight division.
