Magnolia is rolling and showing no signs of slowing down with star guard Paul Lee leading the way.

Lee has been on a tear as of late, averaging 25 points in his last two games where the Hotshots whipped the Rain or Shine Elasto Painters and edged the San Miguel Beermen.

The 29-year-old Lee had 22 points and seven assists in a 92-76 rout of the Painters last Wednesday before dropping 28 points, including the game-winning jumper with 34 seconds left, to stun the Beermen on Sunday.

The 6-foot Lee’s heroics has propelled Magnolia near the top of the standings with 4-1 record, just half a game behind league-leader Barangay Ginebra.

His brilliance has also earned him the Cignal-PBA Press Corps Player of the Week.

Lee and the Hotshots are currently going for a share of the top spot against the Columbian Dyip as of posting time.
