Filipino-American guard Trevis Jackson became the first player to declare for the 2018 PBA Rookie Draft.
As per reports from Spin and ESPN5, Jackson submitted his application form on Wednesday.
The Sacramento State product donned the Philippines’ tricolor when he represented the country in the Fiba 3×3 Shanghai tournament under Manila Gilas in August.
Jackson also played in the PBA D-League with Marinerong Pilipino and Gamboa Coffee Mix.
The deadline for application for Fil-Foreigners is on October 26 while locals can submit theirs until December 3.
The PBA 2018 Rookie Draft is scheduled for December 16.
