Aguilar, Brownlee lead quarterfinals-bound Ginebra over Meralco
Japeth Aguilar and Justin Brownlee combined for 62 points as Barangay Ginebra beat Meralco, 111-105, to book a trip to the quarterfinals in the 2018 PBA Governors’ Cup Sunday night at Sta. Rosa Multipurpose Complex in Laguna.
Aguilar unleashed 31 points in just his second game back from a calf injury while Brownlee also scored 31 that went with seven rebounds and six assists for the Gin Kings, who stayed on top of the standings with a 7-1 record.

Thompson nearly had a triple-double with eight points, 11 rebounds and 12 assists while Tenorio tallied 18 points.
Allen Durham collected 36 points, 16 rebounds and nine assists for the Bolts, who are coming off a stint in the Fiba Asia Champions Cup in Thailand where they finished in fourth place.
