Kim Ian Chi wins PH’s 2nd gold in Asian Para Games

Bowler Kim Ian Chi delivered the Philippines’ second gold medal in the Asian Para Games after topping the Mixed Singles TPB10 event Monday at Jaya Ancol Bowling Centre in Jakarta, Indonesia.

The 39-year-old tallied an average score of 231.30 to bag the gold.

Wonju Hong of Korea scored 229.80 to win silver while Phisitthanakul Raiwin of Thailand and Tan Swang Hee of Singapore wound up tied for the bronze with 221.70 points.

Swimmer Ernie Gawilan seized the historic gold for the Philippines in the 200m Individual Medley event on Sunday.

The Philippines now has two golds, two silvers and three bronzes as it sits in 10th in the medal tally as of posting time.
