Emilio Aguinaldo College center Hamadou Laminou was left bloodied and stretchered off during the Generals game against University of Perpetual Help in the NCAA Season 94 men’s basketball tournament on Tuesday.

Laminou sustained a nasty cut above his left eye after inadvertently getting kneed on the back of his head by Perpetual Help’s Jerome Pasia and the left side of his face subsequently hitting the parquet floor as he lost his balance while going for the basket.

He stayed down on the floor for a few minutes before being carried out on the floor and into the dugout.

The 6-foot-8 Cameroonian got hurt with the Generals down 14, 61-47, with only 22.6 seconds left in the third quarter.

Laminou has been one of the few bright spots for the Generals this season where they missed the Final Four anew.
