Creamline squandered a two-set lead but kept its composure in the decider to outduel Pocari-Air Force, 25-19, 25-17, 20-25, 16-25, 16-14, in the Premier Volleyball League Season 2 Open Conference at the Filoil Flying V Centre in San Juan late Sunday.
The victory extended the Cool Smashers’ win run to four after an opening game setback to the PetroGazz Angels, tying the Ateneo-Motolite Lady Eagles at second behind the unbeaten BanKo-Perlas Spikers (5-0).
It also snapped Pocari’s three-game run, dropping the Lady Warriors to fifth at 3-2.
Alyssa Valdez hammered in 22 kills and produced 20 digs while Jia Morado logged 44 excellent sets and finished with eight points, including two aces that finished off the Lady Warriors.
Fille Cainglet-Cayetano also came up with a personal conference-best 11 points for Creamline.
