Xavier first winner of JGFP InterSchool tourney

Xavier emerged the runaway winner in the Lower School (Grades 1-3) Division of the JGFP Inter-School Golf Championship held in various courses recently.

Xavier, composed of Chaz Limketkai, Scott Ng, Dustin Recto, Geoffrey Tan and Sean Jared Ng, amassed a total of 569 points to finish far ahead of Maria Montessori Children’s SFI in the six-weekend event organized by the Junior Golf Foundation of the Philippines and supported by Custom Clubmakers, Sip Water, Oishi, Snack Pack, Fibisco, Ceres and Gold Medal Food.

Siblings Lisa, Mona and Vito Sarines, representing Montessori, pooled 517 with British School Manila’s Sofia Audrine Colianco, Andie Ng, Kyle Ng, Cara Tiu and Garrett Tiu posting 417 for third place. La Salle Greenhills composed of Aaron Antonio, Nathan Laureano, Tax Rivera and Basti Saycon finished fourth at 250.

Also being disputed in the interschool are Middle School for Grades 4-6, Junior High for Grades 7-9 and Senior High for Grades 10-12.
