Stojanovski on verge of first ICTSI win
TARLAC—Peter Stojanovski of Macedonia broke 70 for the third straight round, his four-under-par 68 under stifling heat on Thursday giving him a one-shot lead over two dangerous Filipino aces going into the final round of the ICTSI Luisita Invitational championship.
Stojanovski, campaigning for the last three years in the local tour, had four birdies in a flawless effort for a 54-hole 202 aggregate, a shot ahead of Jay Bayron and Clyde Mondilla, who returned a 72 and 70, respectively, at the well-manicured Luisita layout here.
“I have been playing [in the ICTSI Tour] for quite sometime now, and a win would be very special,” said Stojanovski. “I had a solid [third round] even though it was very hot.”
