Belga’s foot injury compounds Rain or Shine woes
ANTIPOLO—Rain or Shine was starting to turn things around in the PBA Governors’ Cup, winning a couple of wins after starting off with four straight losses.
But just when the Elasto Painters were having some color in their lives, big man Beau Belga was sidelined a foot injury in the first quarter of their game against Columbian Friday at Ynares Center here.

“I never wanted this to happen but it’s part of the game, I will have a medical check up tomorrow and I’ll see what we can do about this,” said Belga in Filipino after their 100-84 loss to the Dyip.
The loss brought the Elasto Painters to a 2-5 record good for the ninth spot and Belga said it was frustrating to fall down just when things are looking up.

Belga, who had seven points and two rebounds, still kept a positive disposition and believes he can still play in Rain or Shine’s last remaining games.
“I think I can still come back, it’s still not zero visibility,” said Belga. “We’ll see what can be done. I’m just bummed that it happened in this time when the team is performing well.”
