It was a forgettable night for Filipino fighters after Ryan Jakiri and Kaji Ebin suffered first-round losses in the ONE: Pursuit of Greatness Friday night at Yangon, Myanmar.

Jakiri was knocked out by China’s Han Zi Hao, the Top King Muay Thai champion, who unloaded a crushing counter right hand in the opening round of their ONE Super Series kickboxing duel.

Flyweight Ebin, on the other hand, couldn’t escape the americana lock applied by Rudy Agustian of Indonesia, who won by submission at the 4:01 mark.

In the main event, hometown hero Aung La N Sang retained the middleweight title after scoring a TKO victory by strikes over Lebanese challenger Mohammad Karaki.
