Defending champion La Salle Greenhills and Mapua on Monday arranged a finals showdown for the second straight year in the NCAA Season 94 juniors basketball tournament.

The top-seeded Junior Blazers inched closer to retaining the championship after dominating Jose Rizal University, 97-71, while the Red Robins topped San Beda, 75-67, in the second game.

The best-of-three title duel begins on November 6 at Mall of Asia Arena.

Inand Fornillos unleashed 18 of his 22 points in the middle quarters, where La Salle took total control of the game.

Joel Cagulangan, who erupted for a career-high 39 points in a loss to the Light Bombers last game, added 19 points.

The Robins also had their own tandem to turn to against the Red Cubs with both Paolo Hernandez and Jonnel Policarpio finishing with a double-double.

Hernandez came away with 27 points and 10 rebounds while Policarpio collected 25 points and 13 rebounds for second-seed Mapua.
