CJ Perez leads Fil-foreign aspirants for 2018 PBA Rookie Draft

Lyceum’s CJ Perez, one of the country’s top collegiate stars, has applied for the 2018 PBA Rookie Draft.

Perez led five other Fil-foreigners looking to make a name for themselves in the pro ranks.

Joining Perez in the draft, scheduled on December 16, are CJ Isit, Robbie Manalang, Paul Varilla, Trevis Jackson and John Ragasa.

The 6-foot-2 Perez, who is the reigning NCAA MVP, recently led the Pirates to their second straight NCAA Finals appearance.

The PBA will review the documents and eligibility of the Fil-foreign aspirants with the final list of those who qualified will be released on December 3.

Local players also have until December 3 to submit their draft application.
