Charo Soriano was quick to return to winning form after her reunion with Bea Tan saw her become one of the champions of the Beach Volleyball Republic On Tour in the tournament’s El Nido leg.

Soriano and Tan held back Perlas’ Dzi Gervacio and Roma Doromal in straight sets, 21-16, 21-19, in the championship round that capped off their 6-0 campaign.

“Happy to take home the win in BVR on Tour El Nido, super happy that you’re back playing and killing it,” said Tan of Soriano.

Tan and Soriano, who took a break from playing to have her hands on the organizational duties, went undefeated in the preliminaries and the semifinals without dropping a single set.

The duo made quick work of Lio Crusaders’ Sydney Eleazar and Paulina Ong, 21-10, 21-7, in the semifinals that setup their match against Gervacio and Doromal.

Soriano last played in the Santa Ana Open in June and sat out the next two legs and her last title was in Puerto Galera with Tan.
