Ateneo nears semis; Banko ousts Adamson
In collecting its second straight victory, BanKo Perlas chucked Adamson-Akari out of the running Sunday night.
The Perlas Spikers repeated over the Lady Falcons, 25-17, 25-17, 15-18, to occupy solo second spot in the Premier Volleyball League (PVL) Open Conference at Filoil Flying V Centre in
San Juan.
It was BanKo Perlas’ second straight win after it downed Iriga-Navy last Oct. 24.

Using their full strength, the Lady Eagles firmed up its hold of the leadership after disposing of the Lady Oragons, 25-17, 25-19, 25-22.
With veteran Kathy Bersola, Nicole Tiamzon, Dzi Gervacio and Joy Dacoron combining forces, the Perlas Spikers touched off the rout by playing at their own pace.
