Petron, F2 Logistics face off in clash of heavyweights
With the solo leadership at stake, super teams Petron and F2 Logistics clash on Saturday in the Philippine Superliga All-Filipino Conference at Alonte Sports Center in Biñan City.
Both unbeaten in three starts, the Blaze Spikers and the Cargo Movers get to test each other’s mettle early, highlighting their vaunted rosters and battle-tested systems that have given them success the past three years.
“On paper, we are even. But it all boils down to execution,” said Petron coach Shaq Delos Santos, who is also the national women’s head coach. “They (Cargo Movers) have been playing together for a long time but we have developed our own system ourselves.”
Delos Santos, who steered the Blaze Spikers to the Grand Prix title early this year, said that they are looking at the F2 Logistics match as a very crucial part of their title bid.
