McDo Stripes run fires off dec. 2

The McDonald’s Stripes Run 2018 gets going on Dec. 2 at SM Mall of Asia grounds in Pasay City.

Registration fees will help purchase reading kits for Grades 1 and 2 public school children through the Ronald McDonald Read to Learn, which started in 2002 in partnership with the Department of Education.

Registration for the Stripes Run 2018 can be done three ways: register and pay online at mcdostripesrun.com.ph, download the registration form through mcdostripesrun.com.ph and settle the registration fee at select McDonald’s stores or fill up the registration form and pay at select branches.

The race categories: Kiddie 1K, 8 years and below; Young 3K, 8-15 years; 3K, 16 years and up; Family 3K, 2 kids 15 years and below and 2 adults; 5K, 16 years and up; Squad 5K, 4 adults 16 years and up; 10K, 16 years and up.

Tour de France vet AMONG 1,200 Sun Life ph CYCLISTS

A rare chance to ride with three-time Tour de France green jersey winner Robbie McEwen awaits participants of the Sun Life Cycle PH this Saturday at Bonifacio Global City in Taguig.

The 46-year-old Aussie will be joined by more than 1,200 bikers aged two and above, including celebrities like Piolo Pascual and triathlete Matteo Guidicelli.

The Kids Ride, Short Ride (20K) and Long Ride (40K) will take cyclists around the cities of Taguig, Makati, Manila and Pasay.

The event also serves as part of the SunPIOLOgy, which will bring its run leg to four Asian cities while holding three other sports to highlight its 10th year.
