The knee injury was the only thing that could stop Cansino, who was a major reason for the Growling Tigers’ return to relevancy after coming off a horrible year where they finished with a 1-13 record.
Cansino averaged a double-double with 12.8 points and 10.3 rebounds in his first year.
Though, the Tigers fell short of making the Final Four, they still had a promising season in Aldin Ayo’s first year in España.
