After eSports venture, ONE Championship launches athleisure line

After its venture into eSports, ONE Championship is tapping into another lucrative industry.

Hua Fung Teh, CFO of ONE Championship, announced on Tuesday that Asia’s biggest martial arts promotion is launching an athleisure line, featuring sportswear and lifestyle apparel.

“We wanna be able to compete against the giants like Nike and Adidas,” said Teh.

During its fight week in Singapore, ONE Championship marked the launch of “ONE eSports” which will see a number of events in Asia.

Like martial arts, eSports is a big growing industry with a large millennial audience and we leverage our ability and scale to unleash world class heroes and bring your world class esports entertainment,” said Teh.

ONE Championship is teaming up with online fashion service company Zillingo to market the promotion’s merchandise, some of which were nly previously sold during events.

The merchandise can be viewed at  shop.onefc.com/en/ which was made public during the press conference.

“This is never been attempted. This is unprecedented. Unprecedented in that no global sports and lifestyle brand has ever come out of Asia, but we did it in sports media and we’re doing it in e-sports and we’re doing it in sports and lifestyle.”
