Milan Melindo bout up
CEBU CITY—Milan Melindo will more than just put his unbeaten record at stake when he faces dangerous Juan Esquer of Mexico tonight at the Waterfront Hotel and Casino.
He will also go all out to earn a shot at a world title against a foe who seems intent on feasting on him.
“I have fought world champions. This guy is just a newbie,” said Esquer during the press conference for “Pinoy Pride XI: Philippines vs The World.”

Melindo, though, remains confident.
“I trained hard not for this fight, but for the world title because this fight is very easy,” said Melindo.
