Organizers jazz up Founder’s Cup awards night

The Orchard Golf’s traditional November events take another grand turn this year by featuring not one but two consecutive nights of festivities.

Instead of holding the grand raffle and the Founder’s Cup Golf Awards combined on the last Sunday of the month, the drawing for the two Mercedes Benz prizes will now be held on Nov. 24 while the results of the member-guest event will take place at a lavish banquet and show on Nov. 25.

Both events have grown with such popularity that separating them with their own evening of dining, dancing, and winning fabulous prizes was inevitable.

Participating in the 22nd Founders Cup Invitational are 400 member-guest teams vying for more than P5 million worth of prizes.

The grand raffle’s renowned dinner and show may have become so oversubscribed that RSVPs are actually being requested in spite of The Orchard’s clubhouse able to seat 1,500 diners for a single event.
