Honorio Banario got back on the winners’ table after a unanimous decision win over India’s Rajul Raju in a catch weight bout in ONE Championship’s Conquest of Champions card Friday at Mall of Asia Arena.
This was a bounce-back win for Banario who saw his five-fight winning streak get snapped last September when he lost to Amir Khan.
After a firecracker of a first round, Banario (14-7) looked to slow down and this was what Raju (4-4) capitalized as he took the game to the mat.

Banario eventually found cracks on Raju’s game plan and got back to his offense, turning the tables on his Indian opponent.
With the fight dwindling to its final 10 seconds, Banario got Raju’s back and locked him in a rear naked choke to finish emphatically.
