Aidric Chan powered Ateneo to the senior high division title of the JGFP Inter-Schools Golf Championship recently at Valley Golf and Country Club.
Chan produced 50 points or more in five of the six rounds he played as he joined hands with Marc Corrales, Jacob Rolida and cousin Carl Corpus in amassing 610 points for a runaway victory and 1-2 finish for the Ateneo golfers.
Ateneo de Manila Team 2 (Riggs Illescas, Jose Miguel Castaneda, Gabriel Magalong, Vicenzo Miravite) claimed runner-up honors with 547 points.
La Salle Greenhills (Alexi Garzon, Paolo Alejo, Enzo Flores, Josh Blanco, Mich Romero) posted an aggregate 467 to place third.
Chan made it a double by also claiming the overall individual championship. Illescas was the boys division winner while Jamina Uttoh of Caloocan City Science High School took the girls division trophy.
