ONE Championship just got sexier.
The promotion announced on Friday that it signed veteran mixed martial artist Yoshihiro Akiyama or more popularly known as “Sexyama.”
“Akiyama is a true representative of Asian martial arts and it is an honor to welcome him to the global stage of competition,” said ONE Championship CEO Chatri Sityodtong. “He is an absolute legend in the sport, impressing audiences with his supreme martial arts skill and unwavering skill to win.”
The 43-year-old Akiyama owns a professional record of 15-6 while endearing himself to audiences through sheer charisma.
“It’s time to start my last challenge,” said Akiyama on an Instagram post.
