Cayabyab halts slump with Macau triumph
Annyka Pineda Cayabyab ended a long international slump when she won the girls Class B division of the Zhang Lianwei Cup Macau Junior Open championship Friday.
Tied for the lead with local bet Hun Tengteng after two rounds, Cayabyab coughed up an even-par 71 for a 224 total, winning by six strokes.

She fought back with two more birdies to seal the victory, her first win abroad since the Future Champions of Golf International in San Diego, California, in 2014.
“That quadruple gave her quite a scare but showed her resilience with a strong finish,” said Cayabyab’s coach Toch Altea.
