The country’s best ladies pro golfers and a crack Thai crew slug it out one last time this year as the ICTSI Pradera Verde Ladies Classic unwraps Tuesday at Pradera Verde Golf and Country Club in Lubao, Pampanga.

The perennial regional rivals have slugged it out all-year long on the Ladies Philippine Golf Tour (LPGT) although the Thais have dominated the circuit by winning six of the 11 tournaments.
But with Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA)-Tour-bound Dottie Ardina joining the hunt, the locals have bolstered their chances to put one over the Thais this time.

Ardina, coming off a number of runner-up finishes in the Symetra Tour that secured her a full card for next year’s LPGA Tour, LPGT Order of Merit winner Pauline del Rosario, Daniella Uy and Princess Superal will be up against Thais Dolnapa Phudthipinij, Yupaporn Kawinpakorn Chouvarest Chourkittisopon and Chommapat Pongthanarak.
