MANILA, Philippines—ONE Championship has added another talent into its atomweight class after signing Vietnamese-American fighter Bi Nguyen to a multi-bout contract.
ONE Championship chairman and CEO Chatri Sityodtong said big things of Nguyen, a former contestant on Survivor who holds a 4-3 professional record.
“I foresee her as the next superstar in mixed martial arts who will represent Vietnam on the global stage because of her exceptional talent and impressive skill set,” said Sityodtong.

Nguyen started her professional career on three straight wins before stumbling in the next four going 1-3.
Sityodtong sees Nguyen as an integral part in the development of the promotion into the Vietnamese market especially with ONE World featherweight champion Martin Nguyen already a staple MMA personality.
“Along with Martin Nguyen, Bi Nguyen will be an essential part of ONE Championship’s efforts to bring the organization closer to the Vietnamese people,” said Sityodtong.
“We would like to showcase both of them as the country’s biggest international martial arts heroes as we plan to host our first event in Vietnam in September 2019.”
Killer Bee was born in Oakland, California and trains in Jackson-Wink MMA in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
