MANILA, Philippines—Flashing a fluid attack, Global notched its second straight victory with a 5-1 drubbing of home side Nomads in the United Football League in Paranaque.

Fil-Spanish standouts Angel Guirado and Carli De Murga found the back of the net as Global moved up to third ahead of Loyola Meralco on goal difference.

Guirado completed the rout nine minutes into the second half after goals from William Guerridon, Badrelin El Habbib, Ahmed Al Hwedi and De Murga put Global four goals ahead in the first half.

Steve Borril grabbed a consolation goal for Nomads in the 62nd minute. The hosts, who drew with Navy last Saturday, fell to fifth spot with just four points.

Over at the UMak field, Pasargad and Green Archers United registered their first point of the season after battling to a 1-1 draw.

Shapay Johnson gave the Archers the lead, slotting the ball past Abdollah Golkah after a defense-splitting pass from returning skipper Floriano Pasilan.

Pasargad refused to wilt despite going down to 10 men in the 58th minute when Allan Rey Fernandez was sent off for violent conduct.

Charlie Sutcliffe equalized in the 63rd minute, completing a quick counterattack that caught the Archers defense flat-footed.

Pasargad, Archers and Air Force remain at the bottom of the standings without a victory to show.
