Power Hitters try to finish off Agilas
PLDT will aim to end Air Force’s bid on its first crack at the Spikers’ Turf Open Conference crown on Tuesday at Blue Eagle gym in Quezon City.
The PLDT Home Power Hitwas seeded second in the Final Four but gained the twice-to-beat edge in the finals after No. 1 Sta. Elena-National University pulled out to represent the Philippines in the Asean University Games in Myanmar.
The withdrawal paved the way for the finals playoff between No. 3 Air Force and No. 4 Cignal, with the Agilas pulling off a 21-25, 25-18, 25-19, 25-16 win over the weekend to stay in the title hunt.

However, the Agilas need to beat the Home Power Hitters twice to snatch the crown.
Power-hitting Alnakran Abdilla, Rudolfo Labrador, Howard Mojica and Edwin Tolentino will lead the Agilas’ charge against the Home Power Hitters’ tested crew composed of Mark Alfafara, John Vic de Guzman, Joeven dela Vega, Kheeno Franco and Joshua Umandal.
