F2 Logistics books first finals berth

F2 Logistics went through the wringer before booting out Generika-Ayala, 21-25, 25-15, 25-20, 19-25, 15-5, Tuesday night to book the first finals slot in the Philippine Superliga All-Filipino Conference at Muntinlupa Sports Center.

After going toe-to-toe with their foes through four sets, Cha Behag, Ara Galang and Aby Marano sparked a massive rally in the deciding set to finally pull off the victory.

Also making it into the finals of the Collegiate Grand Slam was University of Santo Tomas, which clobbered University of the East, 27-25, 19-25, 25-14, 25-20, in the first match.

The troika of Eya Laure, Milena Alessandrini and Tin Francisco powered the Tigresses to a title showdown against University of the Philippines.

The winner-take-all finals duel is set on Dec. 20 at the Mall of Asia Arena.
