Manny Pacquiao arrives in Manila after welterweight defense

Filipino boxing champion Manny Pacquiao has arrived in Manila following his successful defense of the WBA welterweight in Las Vegas last Sunday.

Pacquiao arrived on Thursday night and was welcomed by a throng of reporters and fans at Naia Terminal 1.


Addressing the crowd, Pacquiao thanked his fans for always watching his fights.

After the easy victory over Adrien Broner, Pacquiao spent a few days in Los Angeles where he watched a Lakers game with his family and had a chance meeting with Floyd Mayweather Jr.
