Ex-NBA exec joins ONE Championship as new VP International

MANILA, Philippines—ONE Championship appointed a former NBA officer to become its new Vice President International.

Meghan Jenkins, a former Vice President and Head of Strategy for NBA Asia, will now work side by side with ONE Chairman and CEO Chatri Sityodtong in extending the mixed martial arts promotion’s global reach.

“As a seasoned leader Meghan will work alongside myself and the rest of our leadership team to help scale markets,”  said Sityodtong in a statement.

A seasoned marketing executive, she has a masters degree in Business Administration from Columbia Business School and a Bachelor of Science degree from University of Carolina at Chapel Hill.

The former NBA officer also negotiated media deals in Japan, Indonesia, and the Philippines—markets ONE already has a foothold in—across different emerging media platforms and eSports.

“I am thrilled to be joining ONE Championship, my experience over the last decade working to build the NBA into a global sports leader will be invaluable as I embark on this new challenge and help take ONE Championship to the next level,” said Jenkins.
