6-leg PPS Mindanao swing kicks off

Sydney Enriquez and Bruce Hurtado spearheaded the field that saw action Friday at the start of the PPS-PEPP General Santos National age group tennis tournament at the GenSan City Tennis Club.

The tournament is the first of six legs in the Mindanao swing of the grassroots tennis tournament.

Also slated in the series backed by Palawan Pawnshop are the Sultan Kudarat leg on Feb. 5 to 11, which will include a free tennis clinic, Kabacan on Feb. 14 to 17, Kidapawan City on Feb. 21 to 25, Digos City on Feb. 28 to March 4 and Tagum City on March 7 to 11.

Trisha Diaz, Princess Haro and Sandra Mosqueda are also among the rising names to watch in the kickoff leg sanctioned by the Unified Tennis Philippines.
