Manny Pacquiao asks fans: Who do you think I should fight next?

MANILA, Philippines—Manny Pacquiao isn’t entertaining Jeff Horn’s continuous prodding for a rematch with the Filipino boxing icon taking to social media to ask the public who he should fight next.
“Looking forward to my next fight! Who do you think it should be? #TeamPacquiao,” posted Pacquiao across Instagram and Twitter February.
Horn took to Instagram in an attempt to get Pacquiao’s camp in getting a rematch but the WBA World welterweight champion’s social media post effectively put a stop to the Australian’s insistence as if the Filipino legend channeled his inner Ariana Grande with a cheeky “thank you next.”

Pacquiao (61-7-2) also has a logical reason why he should ask who he should fight next since there are no viable contenders for his title and a unification bout in also off the table.
A senator in the Philippines, Pacquiao plans to get into a match in May just in time for the Senate’s recess to make way for the 2019 midterm elections but the other champions in the 147-lb division all have fights in or near that month.
Errol Spence, regarded as the top welterweight in the world, is set to defend the IBF title on March 16 while Shawn Porter, Pacquiao’s former sparring partner, will stake his WBC belt on March 9.

Terrence Crawford, the former undisputed junior welterweight champion, will go up against Amir Khan for his defense of the WBO World welterweight championship.
Even Keith Thurman, who holds the WBA Super World welterweight title, is an unlikely opponent since he’s just coming off a majority decision win over Josesito Lopez on Jan. 26.
It may be preposterous, but a rematch with the retired Floyd Mayweather is still probable because of the presence of Al Haymon.
Haymon is Mayweather’s adviser and he’s also Pacquiao’s manager.
