Regine Arocha wasn’t hoping to win Finals MVP.
But she got it anyway for the second straight year and deserved every bit of it.
“I always tell myself that I’m not hoping to win Finals MVP as long as we win the championship I’ll be happy,” Arocha told reporters in Filipino.

Regine Arocha saved her best for last with a game-high 16 points, including five service aces, to lead Arellano University over University of Perpetual Help Tuesday for its third consecutive title in the NCAA Season 94 women’s volleyball tournament.
She had 12 points to help the Lady Chiefs outlast the Lady Altas in five sets in Game 2.
Arocha was instrumental in Arellano’s 11 straight points in the fourth set that essentially clinched the title.
