Coming off the heels of a convincing victory, WBC Inter-Continental and WBA Asian lightweight Romero Duno is set to take his talents to the global stage.

The 23-year-old Duno is set to fight in the undercard of Saul “Canelo” Alvarez’ title bout against Daniel Jacobs in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Meanwhile, Interim WBA World Bantamweight Champion Reymart Gaballo has earned himself the right to take on either Nonito Donaire or Naoya Inoue later this year, according to Sanman Promotions CEO JC Manangquil.

“Reymart’s fight is mandatory [for the division],” Mangquil added.

“I’m just waiting on who’s next for me,” said Gaballo, who recently ascended to contender status following his conquest of Japanese prospect Yuya Nakamura.

Donaire and Inoue both hold a WBA Bantamweight strap which complicates Gaballo’s next assignment.

“I’m just going to continue working and praying as I wait. I’ll do my best whatever happens,” he said.
