Not many Filipino sports fans had a better week than Alyssa Valdez.
The Philippine volleyball superstar spent the last week in Charlotte, North Carolina for the 2019 NBA All-Star Weekend.
Valdez shared the ultimate NBA experience with her former teammate Gretchen Ho as both lived the NBA fan’s dream.
They also got to interact with several NBA stars and never missed a beat of the action from the side events starting with the Rising Stars, Skills Challenge, Three-Point Shootout and Slam Dunk Contest to the All-Star Game.
Team LeBron rallied from 20 points down in the second half to beat Team Giannis in the All-Star Game with Kevin Durant winning his second All-Star Game MVP.
As if being in the same room as some of the biggest Hollywood celebrities and best basketball players in the world aren’t enough, Valdez was also treated to an unforgettable halftime show performance by hip-hop star J.Cole.
