Luisita’s bold prediction: we’re up for a sweep

Luisita is upbeat as usual on its chances in the PAL (Philippine Airlines) Interclub, where it hopes to unseat Canlubang in the Seniors’ division.

Additionally, the Tarlac-based squad will be coming to Cebu with another mission.

“We also feel like we have a great chance for a sweep,” team official Jeric Hechanova told the Inquirer over the phone, hours before his 55-and-over team left Manila on Saturday.

Hechanova was referring to the regular Men’s division, set Feb. 27 to March 2 and which Manila Southwoods has ruled for the last four years.

“We’re going to unveil talents that you will all hear for the first time,” Hechanova said. “They’re products of our grassroots program.”

Eddie Bagtas will be the main man for Luisita’s Seniors squad.
