It may not seem like it, but there are other contenders in the PSL Grand Prix outside of powerhouses F2 Logistics and Petron.

On Saturday, some of the darkhorses try to close the gap with the leaders when they battle separate foes in a Philippine Superliga Grand Prix triple treat at Malolos Sports and Convention Center.

United Volleyball Club battles winless Generika-Ayala in the nightcap hoping its roster powered by US NCAA players will take charge in the 6 p.m. match.

Cignal and Foton kick off the heavy schedule at 2 p.m. with the Tornadoes, a former champion, struggling to get the right mix this conference.

Foton suffered a three-set defeat to F2 Logistics (25-20, 25-20, 26-24) Thursday night.
