PBA D-League: Diliman College dumps Trinity for 1st win
MANILA, Philippines–Diliman College-Gerry’s Grill raced to an early lead en route to an 88-51 rout of The Masterpiece Clothing-Trinity University of Asia in the 2019 PBA D-League Monday at Paco Arena in Manila.
Kevin Gandjeto led the Blue Dragons’ fiery start, scoring 17 of his 21 points in the first half where his team extended its lead past the 20-point plateau.
Article continues after this advertisement“For the past week and a half, we just concentrated on our execution, on defense and offense,” said Diliman head coach Rensy Bajar, whose squad improved to 1-1.
The game was over early after Diliman outscored Trinity, 29-11, at the end of the first quarter.
Gandjeto also had 11 rebounds and two blocks while Joseph Brutas added a double-double with 1 points and 11 rebounds.
